Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Today, we will travel by water taxi to our remote basecamp for the next 4 days! Located within Glover's Reef Marine Reserve, we will be hanging our hats in rustic tent cabanas on Southwest Caye. We will depart from Dangriga at about 8:00 am, and arrive on Southwest Caye no later than 10:00am. After an introduction to the island by your guides, we will have time to settle into our cabanas, and relax after our boat ride to this remote island paradise. After we are all settled in, we will receive a briefing from our guide, before paddling to a nearby patch reef to begin exploring some of the nearly 700 snorkel sites that Glover's Atoll has to offer.

Day 2-3

Enjoy a flexible and relaxing schedule for the next two days in paradise. Feel free to take in a sunrise swim, or join a yoga session with the resident yoga instructor ( not all departures have this option, so please check with us first). Decompress and adjust to the island lifestyle, with many options for day time activities that include sea kayaking, snorkeling and exploring the inner and outer reef, kayaking or sailing. If you really want to slow it down, take in a good book, enjoying the gentle warm breeze on a hammock with a cold beverage.
