The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this. Once the trek has departed, no portion of the package payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the trip, for whatever reason. Should the trip be cancelled prior to departing, due to weather the customer will receive a credit towards future travel in the full amount valid for 1 year from the original booking. Should the Operator cancel the tour due to forces of nature, acts of God, force majeure, no refunds will be submitted. Customers take full responsibility in knowing the Operator is not able to control weather and there is always the possibility of hiking in rain, wind, snow or fog. Conditions can change at any moment and without notice. Should the Operator need to cancel the tour midway through the tour, no refunds will be provided.

Force Majeure: The Tour Operator will not be liable in any way for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, or for the Tour Operator failure to commence, perform or complete any duty owed to you if such death, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), illness, damage or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused by Act of God, war or war like operations, epidemic/pandemics, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities or threat thereof, civil commotions, labor difficulties, interference by authorities, political disturbance, howsoever and where so ever any of the same may arise or be caused, riot, insurrection and government restraint, fire, extreme weather or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Tour Operator; or an event which the Tour Operator or the Third Party Supplier of services, even with all due care, could not foresee any and all of which, individually and collectively, constitute “Force Majeure”.

A package is any tour booked in combination with another tour- ie, 2 or more tours booked together create a package. Any unused portion(s) of a package is not refundable, except in instances where a component of the package is cancelled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, prior to departure by the Operator. Any refunds will be made on the discounted package price and not the full listed rate. For example: Machu Picchu 1 day + Rainbow mountain 1 day package cost = $495. Should the Rainbow mountain trek be cancelled you will pay full price for the Machu Picchu tour ($380) and will be refunded the discounted rate of Rainbow mountain ($115).

Whilst we try to accommodate most notified special dietary requirements, we operate in an extremely isolated environment and this is not always possible. We must be informed of any dietary requirements prior to any trek or we may be unable to accommodate this need. If you have any allergies to food that are life threatening you are required to carry the proper medical equipment should a contamination reaction occur.

On completion of your payment, you will be emailed a booking confirmation which will include important details about what you can expect, what you need to bring, what is supplied and where you need to be at what time. Please ensure that you read through this information thoroughly to ensure that you are adequately prepared for your trek. You are responsible for ensuring that you are dressed appropriately and you have appropriate footwear to undertake the trek.

The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any bookings you make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
