Spend a weekend exploring some of the highlights of the incredibly old, massive and famous Yosemite National Park in the U.S.A. You will spend your days exploring and hiking, learning about the area along the way from your highly qualified guide. Meandering through sweeping meadows, climbing steep and picturesque trails, you will have majestic views of ancient granite Monoliths that surround you. after hiking some of the world's most iconic trails, we spend our evenings camping on the valley floor.

This fully guided tour gives you the chance to get up close and personal with the best of Yosemite National Park, while logistics and camping gear is taken care of for you.

Trip ITINERARY

Day 1-Meet your Group & Hike the Mist Trail

Distance - 10.5 - 14.5km (6.5 to 9 mi)

Welcome to Yosemite National Park!

Your meeting time with your guide will be 10:00am this morning, in the parking lot of Half Dome Village.

After the group has met and are well acquainted, you will head off on your first hike of the trip, the famous Mist Trail. Leading us to some of the main attractions of Yosemite, the Mist Trail is the perfect introduction hike for the weekend. Mist Trail leads us to Nevada Fall and Vernal Fall, known as the crown jewels of Yosemite, falling a combined total of 900 feet. You will hike along the Merced River, and along the way you will be treated with world class views of The Yosemite Valley, Upper Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, Liberty Cap and much more!

After a tiring and incredible day of hiking, we will settle into our campsite in the heart of the Valley floor. It’s is here that Theodore Roosevelt’s famous quote was inspired-“It was like lying in a great solemn cathedral, far vaster and more beautiful than any built by man.”

Day 2-Hike to Glacier Point

Distance- 14.5 - 16 km (9-10 mi)

Day two will start with a hearty breakfast, fueling up for a full day of hiking and exploring this incredible National Park. We will start right away with the challenge of the Four Mile Trail.

Rising from the floor of the Valley, this challenging trail will take us to some of the most picturesque views in the world, including the postcard worthy sights of Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley, El Capitan and Half Dome. The goal today will see you reaching the famous Glacier Point, where you will stand where John Muir and Theodore once stood. This point is so famous and breathtaking, some will travel to Yosemite just to stand at the point. Here we will take in the sights and sounds, rest for a bit before we retrace our steps back to our campground for another night on  the valley floor.

Day 3- Hike the Yosemite Falls Trail

Distance - 5-11 km (3-7 mi)

After another hearty, guide prepared breakfast, we will break camp, and prepare for the days hike-the famous Yosemite Falls historic trail!

The Yosemite Falls trail will take us up 2,425 feet above the valley floor, to the top of one of the highest waterfalls in North America. Along the steep and challenging trail, we will be met with stunning views of Yosemite Valley, Sentinel Rock, Upper Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and much more. Your guide will point out some other lesser known landmarks along the way, enriching your experience as we hike. Our turnaround point will depend on timing, and how our muscles have recovered from yesterday’s adventure.

We will plan to return to valley floor between 2:00 and 4:00 pm, a perfect ending to our weekend together. You are on your own for dinner tonight, and to get some much deserved rest!
