Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport - Amman
Arrive at Amman Airport, where your FlashpackerConnect guide will meet you, assist with immigration and then transfer you to your hotel. Amman is one of the oldest cities in the world, inhabited since the bronze age. The city is growing into a modern city, but retains its character and history.
The drive from QAIA into Amman takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your arrival time and traffic.

Day: Amman - Dana - Hike from Dana Village to Feynan
Early morning pick up from Amman (at 7:00am) and head south to Dana. You will start from Dana Village, 1,200m above sea level, and head west into Dana valley with your trekking guides. The trail drops steeply at first and then levels into amore gradual descent through the Dana Biosphere Reserve towards the eco-lodge at Feynan. The reserve, Jordan's largest, includes four distinct bio-geographical zones, which means that Dana supports an astonishing diversity of birds, plants,and animals. On your way down the valley you may see Griffin Vultures over head as well as hyrax and copper-blue lizards on the rocks; if you're lucky you might even catch a glimpse of an ibex or a desert fox, or see the footprint of a wolf in the dust. Day 3: Feynan Ecolodge - Hike from AlFarsh to Little Petra
After breakfast enjoy one of the local community activities offered in the eco-lodge such as: Hiking, biking, cooking classes, Making kohl (Bedouin eye makeup),Making Arabic coffee, Baking earthy “Arbood” bread or Weaving goat-haired tents.Then we will transfer you to AL Beida where you will hike around 7-8Km, visit LittlePetra site (a mini version of Petra). Then continue following the timeline markers through history to the remains of a Neolithic village. Finish in Little Petra camp.
Driving distance from Feynan onto Al Beida takes around 2 Hours.

Day 4: Little Petra - Hike from Little Petra to Petra
After breakfast it's time to start your hike. Enter Petra via „The Back Door‟ avoiding most of the tourists. Good tracks go pleasantly down Wadi Ghurab amidst sandstone mountains guarding the approaches to Petra. This way follows a Nabataean route out of the valley and skirting round the final mountain on a natural rock terrace which has been „improved‟ for the safety of walkers. Even so,it still narrows slightly before reaching a hidden plateau high above the impressive chasm of Wadi Siyyagh.
Just beyond, carved into the cliff face, „The Monastery‟ suddenly comes into view,where there is a Bedouin café for refreshments if you would like. Nabataean steps then lead down into ancient Petra; through which the route goes before exiting past „The Treasury‟ and though the famous „Petra Siq‟ to the shops, cafés and hotels of Wadi Musa.

Day 5: Petra - Hike Jabal UM AD Dami & Jeep tour - Wadi Rum
At 7:00am you will be transferred from your hotel in Petra and head south towardsWadi Rum. Once you reach Wadi Rum you will drive for around 1.2 hour to the foot of the mountain. Um Ad Dami, at more than 1,800 metres is the highest peak in Jordan, offering you a whole new perspective of the desert from its summit. To the South you can see the border to Saudi Arabia, to the North Jebel Rum (next toRum village). According to your ability climbing to the summit and back to the desert floor takes approximately three hours. After which you will be transferred to your camp in Wadi Rum so as to relax and enjoy some lunch. After having lunch and relaxing at the camp, you will have around 2 hour jeep tour following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges.

Day 6: Wadi rum - Mount Nebo - Cycle to Dead Sea - Dead Sea
We start with a transfer to visit Mount Nebo, where Moses looked across at thePromised Land before he died. We start cycling from here across Madaba plains and farms via backroads. Reaching one of the epic downhills of Jordan, calledPanoramic road, which will take us down to Dead Sea, under the sea level. We will stop on route for a lunch on the hillside with a meal cooked by a local family -another great opportunity to experience the traditional meals.
Once you are at Dead Sea, you can spend time on your own either floating in the sea, mud bath or even some spa treatment.

Day 7: Dead Sea - Wadi Mujib (Siq Trail) - Amman
After breakfast, drive to Wadi Mujib, one of the canyon's highest waterfalls, you will have a short Trail (2 - 3 H) called Siq Trail, the trail starts at the Visitors Center near the Mujib Bridge, where you will take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer,after your finish your tour in Mujib.
Drive back to Amman

Day 8: Amman - Queen Alia International Airport - Departure
Collection from your hotel in Amman and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
Driving distance from Amman to QAIA : 45 Minutes.
